1 pound rigatoni pasta
2 cups beef ragu
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook rigatoni according to package instructions.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
Mix in the beef ragu and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Combine the cooked rigatoni with the beef ragu mixture.
Transfer half of the pasta to a baking dish. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese, then add the remaining pasta, and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs like basil or oregano to the ragu.
Let the dish sit for 10 minutes before serving to set.
