  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and add brown sugar, stirring until combined.
  3. Pour the caramel mixture into the bottom of a cake pan.
  4. Arrange the sliced apples on top of the caramel.
  5. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
