Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry and rub with olive oil.
  3. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Place the lemon halves inside the cavity along with herbs if using.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
