  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 12 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
  4. Pour in beef broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine.
  5. Add tortellini and cooked beef back to the skillet. Simmer until tortellini is tender.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days.
  • For a lighter version, use cream cheese instead of heavy cream.
