  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook chopped onion until translucent.
  3. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  4. Stir in flour, then gradually add chicken broth and milk.
  5. Bring mixture to a simmer and stir until thickened.
  6. Mix in chicken, peas, carrots, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  7. Pour the mixture into a pie crust.
  8. Cover with another pie crust, seal edges, and cut slits for steam.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
