- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into a loaf.
- Place in a baking dish and spread marinara sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and basil on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until fully cooked.
