  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 4 sandwich rolls
  • 1 cup cheese, shredded (provolone or mozzarella)
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef.
  3. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  4. Add kimchi to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Place the beef and kimchi mixture onto the sandwich rolls.
  7. Top with shredded cheese and place in the oven until the cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding Sriracha or gochujang to the beef mixture.
