1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup diced onions
1/2 cup diced green peppers
1/4 cup ketchup
2 eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 strips turkey bacon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, cheese, onions, green peppers, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
Lay the strips of turkey bacon over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until cooked through.
Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, add spices like paprika or crushed red pepper.
Serve with sautéed mushrooms on top for added richness.
