  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble it.
  3. In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat, stir in the flour to create a roux.
  4. Slowly add the milk while whisking to avoid lumps; stir until thickened.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the sauce.
  6. Stir in the cheeses until melted and smooth.
  7. Mix the macaroni, chicken ham, and crumbled turkey bacon into the cheese sauce until well combined.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
